Perfect Pitch: Nick Arbuckle
Founder, Sustainability Advocate, Guitarist
Current City: Nashville.
Current Job and Entrepreneurial Focus: Founder of Viro.
Notable Prior Jobs: Internationally Touring Bass Guitarist.
When I Started Performing: Although I initially resisted violin lessons at an early age, I eventually found a passion for the double bass in school orchestra. I became immersed in the complexities of improvisation and the rich history of jazz.
Performing Arts Background: After earning a music performance degree from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, I moved to Nashville to chase my dream. I've been fortunate to tour with multiple Grammy award-winning artists in notable venues such as The Grand Ole Opry, Coachella, and Bonnaroo, as well as multiple major network TV appearances.
How did your performing arts background supercharge your entrepreneurship? As musicians, we’ve all sacrificed comfort and stability in pursuit of a long-term goal. This sacrifice drives us to out-hustle and out-perform any obstacle standing in our way. When the phone doesn’t ring for the next gig or a must-have meeting gets canceled, we know how to create opportunities for ourselves and our entrepreneurial endeavors.
Favorite Performer: Flea, the iconic bassist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, is known for his high energy performances that electrify audiences. With his exceptional technical skills and precision, he delivers a musical experience that combines raw energy with masterful musicianship.
